A new arrival

For those (and there are quite a few, as we can only send so many SMSes at once) of you who don't already know, a new member of the household moved in today.

DOB: 1st August 2007
Health: Good
Sex: Male
Name: Aidan [provisional]*
Labour: 30 hours (!)
Birth: Natural vaginal delivery (no drugs or interventions).
Parents: Exhausted but recovering.

* No, we're not naming him [provisional], however cool that might sound :-) 'Aidan' is what we're leaning towards at the moment, but the final name that we give him is still subject to change.

** AKA when we're rested and can get around to it :-)

Umm, yeah. Hello there! I have been talked into getting a livejournal, if only so I can read my friends' protected entries :-)
